Is Social Media On a Downswing?

iphones-150x150In this age of technology, social media has, for the most part, replaced face to face communication for young people. Teens are on their smartphones 24/7, posting, checking their “likes”, taking photos, etc. In fact, you could go into a Starbucks or school cafeteria and see a group of teens at a table, their heads in their phones. Believe it or not, they are talking to each other at the table. Teens ability to communicate on a personal face to face level took a hit when “friend” became a verb and not a noun.  However, there is still a chance for our millennials.
